DJ MarMar - You’re Diluted
So I’ve always real impressed with DJ MarMar’s production skills. Crisp, clean and funky at the same time. Since moving to the Bay he’s been expanding his musical horizons with projects like DRT YRT, and this cut is evidence of how far he’s stretched. This cut has a lot of elements I like in music nowadays-funk vocals, synth glitches, sampled strings, stuttery beats, nasty switchups…I hear Ro Knew’s getting a verse over it and am looking forward to the final product!

My guy Ro Knew out in Oakland (via Chicago) recently released an LP. Awesome lineups, dope beat selection and got Ro Knew’s charmful debauchery throughout. Album art’s on its way to be a cult classic. I got to do some scratches on his cut with Qwazaar of Typical Cats and more recently Dirty Digital called “Rebel to the Grain.” Cop it!
