Cort Guitar Worker’s stories

Here’s something any musician who has ever used a Fender, Gibson, G&L, ESP and/or Ibanez guitar should know about. Inhumane labor around the world is on most people’s radar to the point that sometimes it’s the bud of a joke, and this example’s no different. Cort, the manufacturers behind many guitars has a history of treating it’s workers like shit while the CEO is the 125th richest guy in the world. A global movement is picking up to let it be known. Being musically related, I think it motivates artists and musicians to get loud and do something about it and will bring more light to the bigger picture. It’s important to relate it to the problem of those with a craft getting fucked over by those with business sense be it jeans or guitars. Makes me wonder about who pieced together all the gear I use to make music. So what’s up Chicago? Let’s do an event…
