Pizza By Alex After a company party w/ my DJ team Cage & Aquarium DJs, I passed by Pizza By Alex at 5044 W Montrose to grab a slice before heading home. It was late, the place was about to close and the staff didn’t really want to serve anyone, but I was able to get a thin slice pepperoni that did the job and then some. Cheese and pepperoni were a little over cooked which I like so they were nice and crusty. Sauce was very tomato-y but kind of soaked up by the crust so the flavor was there w/o it bursting out of bites. Just the right spices added a kick. Sort of reminded me of Dominoes thin crust but a little thicker and with more crust. Good stuff when needing a slice and the website shows the dining experience could be great too.
