Krukid is consistently killing it. I’ve had the privilege of playing these tracks out for his Chicago sets and the response is stellar. Holler at this before he gets big and the future you can only wish the past you knew.
Apart Pizza
I got recommended Apart Pizza by renaissance man b-boy Danger, one half of Spatial Interventions. Delivery from 2205 W Montrose was prompt for our tricolore pizza and it was quite good. The neopolitan thin-crust was a little floppy in the middle but crispy at the edge, which I didn’t mind but noticed. Cheese and toppings were tasty, and hit the Italian flavoring on the head and I found myself really enjoying it with some hot sauce added. Overall I liked it, but funnily enough when I talked to Danger about it, he mentioned he didn’t like it the second time ‘round. Guess they have consistency probs, but I recommend peeping it if you’re walking by in the area looking for pizza.
Common Mind
Champaign folks hit me! I’m headed back to the alma mater this weekend to spin for a night thrown by CU’s walking legend Matt Harsh. It’s gonna be fun, the line up is killer with sounds and visuals. I have no idea what Imma play, but it’ll be prolly somewhere around funkstepelectrohop. The flyer kicks ass too, wish I had a bigger scan!

One of the DJs I keep up with on a regular basis mentioned that sometimes he likes to just bump him and his homies’ shit, so I made a blog to do that. Champaign Urbana artists from the 2000s. One new track a day.
Dylan Noble
I went to highschool with Dylan in Switzerland and was always really amazed by his drawing/painting skills. Good to know he’s doing it up in Canada. This has been a favorite since I first saw it a couple years back.
